South Park is of course famous for pushing the boundaries of taste. When the adult animated cartoon first came out I was a fan of it scurrilous ground breaking , anarchic approach but it must be said I've tired of it as it widens the boundaries every wider to find topics to lampoon. So it's not surprising that along with Muhammed and Jesus the Buddha gets a mention. In this short clip we see him being admonished by Jesus for snorting coke. The real Buddha of course would be 'higher' than any coke could make him - and it would be longer lasting too. Give me Lisa Simpson becoming a Buddhist anytime !Monday, 1 August 2011

ReplyDeleteWe would like to inform our Buddhist about Yip Kum Fook who is president of SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST ASSOCIATION, Taman Desa Jaya, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
He is planning to turn the SAMNAK SAMBODHI into a Mahayana temple. but was not successful as some committees died without any illnesses, Yip Kum Fook rebelled against Buddhists all the time.
Yip kum Fook is a stubborn, dirty-minded man who is always angry with his son (Yip Jiun Han). His son is now insane and unconscious. When we are at the SAMNAK SAMBODHI, the son always comes to talk with us about family. We know that this is a kind of karma, fluent.
please research on internet or google about Yip Kum Fook to know more details and we are Buddhists need to protect our Buddha words. We know this SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST TEMPLE we have seldom worked hardly before. PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE.
