Tiniest Buddha Statue in the World ?

I have had this lovely little Buddha statue in my possession for over 7 years now - I bought it in Laos in 2003 for 50 baht by a seller who appeared by the site of a beautiful waterfall outside Vang-Vien . I have treasured it ever since it is made of brass and measures 16 mm in height. I'm pretty sure it isn't the smallest in the world there is probably one carved out of a grain of rice no doubt - but I add it as my starter for 10 !

In the Shadow of the Buddha - Tibetan Nuns

The world of Buddhist nuns is much less well known than that of male monks. In this moving documentary of Tibetan Buddhist nuns in northern India documentary filmmaker Heather Kessinger takes us into this seldom seen world. She finds evidence of a male dominated patriarchal culture which has seen much of their work and devotion marginalised and oppressed but the female spirit emerges strong and emboldened with love.
