The remit of the
Buddha's Face blog was to bring you opinions, history, meanings and the culture that lies behind the history of this 2500 year old 'religion'. But it was also to report on the weird and wonderful world of the Buddha bizarre where worship or idolatry or
enthusiasms morphs into something somewhat different from the pure intentions of the founder Siddhartha Gautama.
Made by a company called TON they range in price from $13,500 to a whopping fat Buddha price of $43,000 and the Buddha statue shown is covered in 23 carat gold leaf. So if you've got more money than sense or just want to worship your music in a different way then get yourself a pair.
