Buddha Air is the State owned mainly domestic airline based in Kathmandu in Nepal which started in 1997. Nepal is of course a Buddhist country so it is in honour of the religions founder that they named the airline after him. I did try to access their website when writing thius blog to get more information but it would appear to be down. So maybe I'll stick to Thai Air in the future !Friday 14 January 2011
