Famous English actor Orlando Bloom was born 33 years ago. His break through part was in Lord of the Rings in 2001 and then in the Pirates of the Caribbean series along with Johhny Depp and Keira Knightley.
He has played the lead in major Hollywood films, including Elizabethtown and the Kingdom of Heaven and is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. In 2004 he became a Buddhist joining the group Sokka Gakkai International - this is a global movement which has it roots in Japan and is based on Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism and the teaching of the chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.
