Tibetan Sand Mandalas - Nothing is permanent -The Buddha

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
Buddha

Nothing is forever - in Tibetan Buddhist culture theirs is a tradition of making beautiful and intricate sand 'mandalas' by placing carefully- grain by grain - coloured sand onto a flat surface to make perfectly symmetrical and inspiring designs. It is a deliberate act of philosophical creation and then by consciously destroying it in order to view it in the same way as a flower or a person - everything is impermanent - everything will die.

Nothing is permanent -The Buddha
