At the Buddha's Face we are delighted to profile the work of an extremely talented Thai Esarn artist Pleong Wattasan. He was born in to an farming family and his work is intrinsically linked with North East Thailand's rural culture - which is one of simplicity and respect for the natural environment.
He has won many awards for his wonderful heartfelt work - which is simply Thai and simply Buddhist.
The only real failure in life is not to be true to the best one knows.
