Buddhist Top Trumps - Memories from Childhood

When I was a boy at school one of the popular playtime pastimes was the game of ‘Top Trumps’. These were packs of playing cards on particular themes. Particularly popular were cars and industrial vehicles though they could be almost anything which has a picture of the item and some important stats about it, such as number of passengers, cc capacity of the engine, cost. You would then pit your card set against your opponents on a card by card basis choosing what you thought was your best ‘stat’. The highest figure won the card. The object was to win all the cards off your opponents. I got to thinking was there a similar set for religions. Thanks to the wonders of the internet think no more – here’s the card for Buddhists!

Age: Over 2000 years old (we’re not counting re-incarnation)

Wealth :. .does not gurantee happiness (apparently)

Follower Dedication – mostly placid live and let live types. Except some extremist Buddhists in parts of Asia who kill Christians.

Daffiest Doctrine – Is the oneness in itself the same as the oneness for itself?

Weapon of Choice – Holds the passport to Nirvana.

Easily Offended? Too busy meditating
