A Thai Buddhist House Blessing - with the chef Gordon Ramsay

Thailand is not only famous for it temples and Buddhist traditions but also for its outstanding cuisine. Many a TV chef has beaten a path to the country to try and discover the secrets behind one of the worlds greatest national cuisines. Gordon Ramsay is no exception - in this brief excerpt from Gordon's Great Escape he helps to create food for the daily alms round of the Buddhist monks who have come to bless her house.

Good to see he treats them with respect and calms his normal foul mouth. It's a shame you can't smell and taste over the Internet as the dish sound delicious. Yum Yum !

“Thirst for existence, O monks, has a specific condition,

it is nourished by something, it also does not go without support.

And what is that nourishment? It is ignorance.” Buddha
