How to make an origami Buddha

Origami (from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper") - the Japanese art of paper making is a wonderfully relaxing pastime and the most talented practicioners can make make elaborate shapes and forms from a single sheet of folded paper. In this wonderful video which takes place in a Buddhist temple room we see a young lady taking us step by step to make a sitting , meditating paper origami Buddha.

“Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”
